What is Live Rosin?

Live rosin is a type of concentrate. A concentrate is a cannabis extract that is dense with cannabinoids and terpenes. You get live rosin when you apply a lot of heat and pressure to bubble hash made with fresh, uncured hemp plants.

So why is live rosin such a coveted item? When farmers harvest hemp, it usually goes through a curing process (which is how you get CBD flower). However, during this process, you lose a lot of terpenes.

We skip the curing process with live rosin, and then the fresh plant material is used to make bubble hash. By using uncured hemp, we can preserve the live terpene profile of the plant.

Hemp and other plants produce aromatic compounds called "terpenes." Chemically speaking, they are pretty similar to cannabinoids. Besides flavor and smell, terpenes can have a complementary effect when paired with hemp-derived Delta-9 THC.

Each of CDXX’s Live Rosin Gummies contains 15mg of hemp-derived Delta-9 THC along with 5mg of live rosin extract. Because the Delta-9 is derived from hemp and does not consist of more than 0.3% of a Live Rosin Gummy’s dry weight, it’s legal in all 50 states. It’s also why you may notice that these gummies are a bit bigger than those in our Select Spectrum line.

The live rosin concentrate does contain a full spectrum of natural hemp-derived cannabinoids. However, in terms of effects, these cannabinoids aren’t as pronounced as Select Spectrum.
